Vantara has rescued more than 1000 crocodiles from Tamil Nadu. Additionally, Vantara has also rescued animals from hunting homes in Africa, animals at risk of euthanasia in Slovakia, and critically endangered animals from facilities in Mexico.
Anant Ambani also said that what started as a passion for me at a very young age has now become a mission with Vantara and our wonderfully committed team. We are focused on protecting India’s critically endangered species. And Vantara is not related to any business, it is completely a non-profit organization.
Anant Ambani also says this about his love for animals
” So, as you know, in our Sanatan, every deity has an animal close to their heart. Every deity has a vahan, which is an animal. In the Rigveda, too, Krishna says all life is equal, be it human or a bee, or an ant. Here (Vantara), we take care from frogs to mice to everything.”
“Something that drives my cause is animal welfare. There are a lot of people working [for human welfare] but in animal welfare, there are few people working. I think I was the chosen one and am fortunate enough for God’s blessings… that I could do Seva of animals.”
“For me, in today’s life, you can’t see God but I see God in every animal. They say in our dharma that in a cow, there are 64 crore devtas. But for me, not only in a cow, but I see in every animal. So it’s my giving back to society.”
